Description

We have a support group available for carers who are caring for a loved one with a diagnosis of dementia.

This group gives you, the carer, the chance to talk openly and freely about your caring role in a non-judgemental and safe environment with other carers in a similar situation to yourself.  There will be a Carer Support Worker there to provide advice and information and occasionally a guest speaker to provide additional support, advice and information.

Our Carer Support Group is held for ten weekly sessions, four times a year on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 1pm -2pm with refreshments available afterwards.

You can speak to a Carer Support Worker to book a place and we will confirm the date of the next group.  If you would like your loved one to attend also, we have activity groups and chair exercises (FACE) at the same time.

We cannot promise to fix all your problems but we can promise that you wont have to face them alone.

Opening Times

Tuesday and Thursday 1pm - 2pm
