Description
Healthy Minds is a low level mental health programme which is designed to support local women’s mental wellbeing and runs every Monday night at 7pm – 8:30pm at Oakwell in the Indoor Centre and is completely free to attend.
In Partnership, with Creative Minds and South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. Healthy Minds aims to enable women and girls aged 16+ to access and offer peer support, share experiences, tips and coping mechanisms whilst also having the opportunity to socialise and connect.
Specially trained coaches will facilitate social and conversational topics, whilst giving participants the choice of taking part in a number of low level multi-sport activities
We have a number of supportive partners engaging with us throughout the programme and this allows us to be able to signpost participants to further support or interventions where necessary.
