Trading Standards

In addition to complying with some key legal requirements which apply when advertising and/or selling online, existing trading standards laws relating to business names, unfair trading practices and contracts for goods and services will also apply. Confirmation of having looked at the Trading Standards legislation and compliance to the Trading Standard regulations are included in the Live Well Barnsley Directory Terms and Conditions

There are three sets of regulations that apply specifically to trading online:
