Who we are

We can arrange for animals to visit residential care homes to spend time with your residents. COVID-19 UPDATE


Unfortunately due to the Covid-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic we continue to be closed to the public until further notice. We will announce on our website and social media when w have a date for reopening. Apologies for the inconvenience caused.

Research has shown that interaction with animals can have a positive effect on mood in elderly residents in care homes and day centres.

We have a wide variety of animals for residents to meet, including rabbits, guinea pigs and hamsters as well as exotic breeds such as tortoise, snakes and lizards.

Bring your residents to visit us visits can also be arranged to Wigfield Farm. The site is compact, is wheelchair accessible and has café facilities on site offering hot food and drinks. Visits can be tailored to suit the needs of residents.

If you have any particular requirements we would be happy to explore these with you. We welcome pre-visits by staff and risk assessments can be provided.

Other Details

Cost: Animal Therapy Visits by groups to the farm are charged at £30.00 plus VAT per hour and we welcome groups of up to 30. The first 10 people are free and then normal admission fees apply. Please book in advance so that we can accommodate your requirements.
