The Well for Wellbeing at The Core is a package of 6 free beauty/complementary therapies that are available for women and men. The Core is situated in a convenient town centre location with ample parking and easily accessible by public transport. It provides a perfect setting for our Beauty and Complementary Therapy Service. Your package may consist of any combination of the treatments available below and can be selected on an individual basis. - Acupuncture - Holistic Massage - Indian Head Massage - Hot Stones Massage - Hypnotherapy and Anxiety Management - Reflexology - Reki - Oriental Massage - Shiatsu.

It is important to know that these therapies are not a replacement or an alternative for conventional methods of cancer treatment. At your first appointment a complete history will be taken and it is advisable to allow one hour for this consultation. Also available are a range of Beauty Therapy Treatments: - Warm wax treatment for hands and feet - Brow Enhancements - Manicure and general nail care - Pedicure and general nail care - Facials and skin care advice, Spray Tan (full or partial body) - Colour Analysis - Make up and advice.

Also available is a 45 minute Warm Wax treatment for hands and feet. The warm wax is used to soften and nourish the skin on the hands and feet. Also used as a luxurious treatment which is particularly beneficial for arthritis, rheumatism and painful joints. This treatment is used to improve the condition of the skin and improve circulation to counter side the effects of chemotherapy. If it would be beneficial to continue with any of these therapies after your 6 free sessions, it may be possible to continue with a small donation.
