Our Learning Disability and Autism Liaison Nurse is here to support people with a Learning Disability and Autistic people of any age.

Description

The Learning Disability and Autism Liaison Nurse works across all  Barnsley Hospital services.

The Learning Disability and Autism Liaison Nurse:

• Can provide advice and guidance on reasonable adjustments available within hospital services
• Support outpatient appointments, hospital admissions and planning for both  upon referral (Capacity dependant)
• Provides bespoke awareness training to hospital staff
• Works closely with other professionals across Barnsley to promote health equalities.
