Woodways - All Female Service

Woodways offers an intensive residential setting primarily for people who are categorised under the Transforming Care Agenda cohort of people - with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Learning Disabilities, Mental Health issues and additional and complex needs; all of whom require support and care across 24-hours per day. 

The Ings - All Male Service

The Ings offers an intensive residential setting primarily for people who are categorised under the Transforming Care Agenda cohort of people - with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Learning Disabilities, Mental Health issues and additional and complex needs; all of whom require support and care across 24-hours per day.

Both Homes accommodate:

• People on direct discharge from a secure setting who have been assessed as now requiring an intensive residential element that will eventually form part of a pathway towards greater independence
• People who live in a community setting and are either in crisis or approaching a crisis and require a safe environment.

Each person supported has their own individual apartment, bespoke designed for them and each apartment comprises the following:

• Sitting room with dining area
• Bedroom
• Wet room
• Kitchen
• Boiler room 

In addition, within both Homes, there is:

• A relaxation room
• A communal sitting room
• Arts and Crafts room
• Staff office space
• Visitors` WC
• Manager`s Office
• Team Leader/handover room
• A separate room to receive delivery of medications/drugs before distribution to self-contained apartments. Also doubles up as a basic first aid room
• Laundry room. Peoples` personal laundry is done in their apartments. The laundry room is used for larger items such as bedding.

People who live in both Homes also have access to an on-site Conservatory which comprises:

• Kitchenette and Café area
• Multi-media centre
• A variety of different seating
• Coffee tables
• Snooker table
• Floor standing table football
• Toilet facilities

Both Homes have their own garden areas and the Conservatory also has a large garden, with brick-built BBQ and outdoor Pizza Oven.

Both The Ings and Woodways provide care and support to all our service users to a standard of excellence which embraces fundamental principles of Good Care Practice, that this is witnessed and evaluated through the practice, conduct and control of quality care in the Home.

The people we support live in a clean, comfortable and safe environment and are treated with respect, dignity and sensitivity to their individual needs and abilities. Our staff are responsive to the individual needs of each person and provide the appropriate degree of care and support to ensure the highest possible quality of life within each Home.
