HOYLAND AND BIRDWELL METHODIST CHAPEL - CHURCH SERVICES AND BIBLE STUDY

Hoyland and Birdwell Methodist Chapel is welcoming and friendly. Our modern building has excellent facilities, is fully accessible and caters for all ages. There is a sanctuary at the front, with a beautiful and inspirational stained glass window, a large hall to the rear leading out to a small secure garden area, and a well-equipped kitchen. Upstairs there is a meeting room with kitchen facilities and comfortable lounge. All our rooms (with or without kitchen facilities) are available for group lettings.

We welcome everyone to our Sunday morning services at 10:30 am, followed by tea and coffee and a time for fellowship.

Our Mission Statement:The mission of the Methodist Church – Barnsley South is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ by encouraging, resourcing and enabling people and chapels of the area to serve their communities and the wider world.

Caring for God's creation is an important part of being a Christian, and in June 2022 we achieved the bronze level award for being an Eco church. We actively encourage the use of eco friendly products, recycling and best management of our building and grounds.

We also hold bible study together fortnightly.
