Description
Join Kayleigh and Karla for a leisurely stroll along the Trans Pennine Trail, passing by the beautiful Monk Bretton Priory. The walk starts from the Priory Campus in Lundwood and follows a well-paved and mostly flat route, with just one small incline. There are several resting points along the way, where you can take a break and catch your breath.
This walk is suitable for wheelchairs, prams, and dogs on a lead. There are two walk leaders, so you can walk at your own pace and regroup at the resting points. After the walk join the group for refreshments in the Priory Campus, Priory Kitchen Cafe. There is free parking available outside the Priory Campus or catch the bus number 27, 27a, 27b, 32, 39, 198 or 481 that drops you just after the Prior Campus.
