'Hello', I care for my dad who has dementia. I formed Butterflies, as I believe passionately that remaining active has helped keep my dad who is today. At times I have found this quite challenging, however it doesn't need to be. We meet several times every week for a range of activities and support. I try to encourage anyone to attend so that other isolated people feel welcome, which in turn brings a true sense of normality for everyone. I am always looking for new ways to support people in the same or similar situation to my dad and I. 

We come together to enjoy a range of activities including:

• Friendship groups
• Friendship walks
• Social and musical afternoons
• Trips
• Lunches
• Support for carers
