Description
Dementia Well-Being Day Care is a day care service with a range of facilities and services relevant to the needs of people with dementia and early onset dementia. It is designed to provide a friendly place for people with dementia to socialise and take part in a planned programme of social activities to provide entertainment, stimulation and aid rehabilitation.
A varied range of activities will be offered on each day, all of which will be individualised to suit the client's needs and preferences. Our care staff will provide clients and their carers with the opportunity to find out about the activities we have on offer, and a weekly activity programme will be incorporated into individual care plans. Clients will be encouraged to follow this, but there will be no compulsion to do so.
- Personal Care
-
Information will be provided about hairdressers, dentists, opticians, chiropodists, and other personal care services. Care staff will be happy to arrange visits for anyone wishing to use these services whilst at the Centre.
The client will be liable for any fees charged by the service provider.
- Health Care
-
Care staff will work with clients and their carers to ensure they take their medication correctly and safely at the appropriate times.
- Disabled Access

The Day Centre is fully wheelchair accessible. It also has a wheelchair accessible toilet.
