The Community Shops have been successful in the communities of Athersley and Goldthorpe but now we also have Community Shop On The Go.
By sourcing good quality surplus food, Community Shop on the Go is helping with the reduction of food waste and as this is open to everyone, you too can help.
Our fully stocked vans are out and about across Barnsley and visit Thurnscoe, Grimethorpe, Dodworth, Darton Darfield and Penistone.
We stock a range of fresh and store cupboard food and you can select
- Small Bag 6 items for £3
- Large Bag 12 items for £5
Everyone is welcome to come along and there is no qualifying criteria.
