ELSH's mission is to provide a positive, safe and stimulating environment for young parents, young adults not engaging in education or training, asylum seekers, refugees and migrants. The aim of ELSH is to help people enjoy their learning, achieve their potential and interact socially.
ELSH offers free entry level, level 1 and level 2 ESOL (English to Speakers of Other Languages) and Basic Maths, English and IT skills.
We also here to support with health and wellbeing, conversation and English support and access to computers.
At ELSH we don't only provide educations but access to other services in a holistic approach to the needs of our students. We are also able to refer them to:
- Local Foodbanks
- The Citizens Advice Bureau
- Help with housing issues
- Legal support
- Translation services
