Description
Breastfeeding is the most natural thing in the world and some mums get the hang of breastfeeding straight away, but sometimes we require a little extra support, guidance or reassurance along the way. The groups offer you an opportunity to meet your Infant Feeding Support Worker and other families to share ideas and experiences, discuss concerns, gain confidence in breastfeeding out and about and make new lifelong friends.
You can also pick up your healthy start vitamins from the main Family Centres. All women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should take vitamins as part of their daily routine. Babies who are exclusively breastfed should also receive a vitamin supplement.
If you're having a baby, please give us a ring on 775700 and let us know which session you would like to attend:-
