LOOK GOOD FEEL BETTER

The national charity, Look Good, Feel Better held their first workshop 26 years ago and since then have launched their free, confidence-boosting workshops across the UK for women, men and young adults undergoing treatment for any type of cancer.

Look Good Feel Better have responded to the pandemic and diversified their offering in order to reach those most vulnerable at such a challenging time.

Online skincare, makeup and nail care workshops are held on a weekly basis showing cancer patients how to tackle some of the problems they might be facing as a result of their treatment.

These virtual platforms also allow cancer patients of all ages the opportunity to ‘meet’ others going through similar journeys, feel less isolated and alone and share mutual experiences, alongside gaining a much-needed confidence boost.
