Description
Mission TTC Barnsley offers opportunities for all.
We deliver coaching in schools in the local area as well as weekly evening sessions for anyone who would like to learn more about the game.
Evening sessions take place at sports centres around Barnsley.
Coaching
Group sessions from 6+ covering all abilities: We are happy to provide beginners sessions from the ages of 6 to 96! These sessions will give those new to the sport an insight into how to play basic shots and to progress at the sport if they wish to.
Small and large group sessions: Both small and large group table tennis sessions offer unique benefits. Small groups allow for more individualised attention and focused skill development, while large groups create an energetic and dynamic environment. The choice between the two depends on individual preferences and goals.
Breakfast, lunch and after school sessions: These sessions are designed to provide a well-rounded table tennis experience, catering to participants' different energy levels and focusing on skill development, strategy, and social interaction. They create an engaging and supportive environment for players of all levels to thrive.
Women and Girls sessions: Having the only active female coach in the Barnsley area gives us the opportunity to be able to offer women and girl only sessions for those who feel they could progress better in this type of environment.
School holiday training camps: Table tennis school holiday training camps offer a structured and focused environment for kids to enhance their table tennis skills, build friendships, and have a memorable and productive school break. These camps can be a valuable experience for aspiring table tennis players of all levels.
Over 50’s group sessions: Participating in over 50's table tennis sessions can offer a wide range of physical, mental, and social benefits. Joining a table tennis group provides an opportunity to meet new people, make friends, and engage in social interactions.
Parkinson and Alzheimers group sessions: Playing table tennis can offer several benefits for individuals who have Parkinson's disease or Alzheimer's disease. While it may not serve as a cure, it can certainly contribute positively to overall well-being: improved motor skills, balance and stability, positive impact on mood and mental well-being, physical well-being and more.
