The Mothers Union is the largest Christian Organisation in the world with over four million members in 83 countries. Our Darfield Branch was founded in 1910.
We have a short devotional service with hymns, Bible reading and prayers, followed by a good speaker. The speakers are from all walks of life so we really get a good insight of what is going on around us. Our speakers often tell us there is a lovely warm atmosphere at our service and that they would like to come again. The meeting concludes with a cup of tea and cakes and there is always time for a chat with one another.
The Mothers Union is a wonderful organisation which seeks to promote Christian values in the sphere of marriage and family life. It has many wonderful projects. We would love to see you at our meetings and you can be sure of a very warm welcome, men too, we do have male members which is wonderful!
