Description
Our Place' is a Community Interest Company which provides activities for adults with learning difficulties.
We hold regular drop in sessions, where people with learning disabilities can come together to meet their friends and take part in a wide variety of activities, learning new skills and having fun in a supportive and welcoming environment.
We hold quiz and bingo evenings, trips, computing, arts and crafts, party nights, pool tournaments, karaoke and trips to the bowling alley at the Metrodome. We always welcome new ideas and suggestions.
You are welcome to join in any event. Please contact us for more information. Any new members, please contact us to arrange an appointment for an initial visit.
Unfortunately, due to low staff numbers we are unable to provide personal care to clients (toileting), we kindly request that any person who has such needs, attends with a personal assistant or support worker.
Please contact Kerrie to book.
Coming soon:
Regular visits from Therapy Dogs Nationwide beginning February 2022.
Sensory garden.
We hope to begin arranging more out and about in the community sessions, obviously depending upon the covid guidance of the moment.
