PENISTONE CINEMA ORGAN TRUST

The Penistone Cinema Organ Trust was founded by Kevin Grunill in 1999. The Compton organ remained in storage since its purchase in 1994 and it was not until a new home was found for the organ that the Trust was formed. The Trust was formed to install the Compton and present concerts.

Following its installation at the Penistone Paramount, the trust has gone from strength to strength and now we present regular monthly concerts featuring the Compton at The Penistone Paramount. We also have lunchtime concerts at St Andrews Church and an Afternoon Tea Dance at the Astoria Centre.
