Description

Fit Reds is an ‘Award Winning’ twelve-week healthy lifestyle programme delivered by Reds in the Community for adults in Barnsley.

The Vets has been running on a while. It was a follow on from our Fit Reds course so was only open to people who had been through the course.

This has now changed so its open to men over 30 who want to play some football. The indoor session consists of 30 mins of fitness and then an hour of football. If they choose to play outside it’s a full 90 minutes of football.

The sessions costs £5 per week and you need to book a place. The session runs every Thursday 8.30-10pm.

Barnsley Safe Places

Barnsley Safe Places welcomes anyone over the age of 16 to join as a member. Anyone can feel unsafe or unsure whilst out and about if something goes wrong. The venues available in Barnsley have been trained to be welcoming and helpful to anyone and everyone. There are a variety of venues such as libraries and cafes so you can find a quiet place by yourself or get help.
