Description
At Rising Sun Martial Arts we teach a curriculum based on The Wado Ryu (Way of Peace/Harmony) school of Karate as well as Free Style Sport Karate. Karate is primarily considered a Striking Art. Wado Ryu includes, Striking, Locking and Throwing, examples include, Punches, Kicks, Blocks, Counter Attacks, Balance Breaking, Sweeps, Throws, Joint-Locks, Pins, Chokes and Strangles.
Competition: Sparring & Kata (Forms) is encouraged.
New members are always welcome, just come to any of our classes for a chat and see what we do.
