What do we offer?

We are a unique project which has been specifically designed to meet the needs of older people who want to live independent lives whilst maintaining access to a range of support services.

At Westmeads you’ll have the security and privacy of your own home, with access to all the
support you need.

We offer:

• A range of two bedroom apartments and bungalows
• One-to-one support from a named keyworker
• Fully fitted kitchen, lounge and level access wet room
• Access to on-site restaurant, laundry, library, computer suite, hairdresser and communal gardens
• On-call warden available 24 hours a day
• Your own front door – it’s your home.

Customers at Westmeads enjoy a rich and active social life. Our customers work with staff to organise a range of activities including:

• Choir sessions
• Guest speakers
• Gardening

Flexible care and support

As a resident you’ll regularly meet with your keyworker who ensures that you are happy, your needs are met and the appropriate care and support is being delivered.

Eligibility and applying for a place

Westmeads is owned and managed by South Yorkshire Housing Association and is part of our LiveWell group of services across South Yorkshire.
To be eligible for a place at Westmeads you’ll need care or tenancy support as part of your day-to-day life.
