Description
St Luke's is a small friendly church, located at the heart of the community of Worsbrough Common. Built in 1870's as a sister church to St Thomas' in Worsbrough Dale, it was paid for by the Cooper family (founders of the Cooper Art Gallery in Barnsley).
The beautiful stained glass windows are dedicated to the memory of family members. We have weekly services on Sundays including Holy Communion, a standard Eucharist service from common worship, Morning Prayer, standard morning prayer service from common worship, and a Service of Praise, based on the New Patterns of Worship Service of the Word.
We enjoy refreshments together after the services and everyone is welcome to come and join us.

Holy Communion Every 1st and 3rd Sunday at 11am for 1 hour
Morning Prayer Every 4th Sunday at 11am for 45 mins
Service of Praise Every 2nd Sunday at 11am for 45 mins
