Parkside is a registered Residential Home for persons who require personal care, dementia care , caring for adults under 65 yrs, and caring for adults over 65 yrs. We are also able to offer long and short term care and day care.

Our lovely purpose-built, two storey Parkside home is in an open, sunny spot just a short bus journey from Barnsley town centre. Nestled into a small hillside, we have car parking to the front, for visitor convenience and a lush lawn surrounding the building. We have 36 beds, 26 of which are ensuite. Each room is decorated in neutral tones with pretty finishing touches to create a calm, relaxing and enjoyable space for residents to make their own. Small items of furniture and personal pictures and photographs are welcome – we find these help residents to settle in. Both our floors have cosy and comfortable lounges and functional, relaxing dining rooms. The secure garden at the back of the building is well maintained and has a lovely sunny patio, perfect for enjoying the warmer months. There is lift and wheelchair access on both floors and we are within walking distance to a bus stop, local shops, public houses and post office.
