Description
The new Barnsley Community Connector service has been developed to deliver recovery focused interventions, such as gradually building confidence around anxiety provoking situations and experiences.
The Community Connector team come with their own lived experience of mental health, offering peer support and enabling you to connect with the local community. They can utilise and share their own experiences in a positive, supportive, and meaningful way to help you manage and maintain your physical and mental wellbeing.
We are a Monday to Friday 9-5pm service and can offer six to ten sessions to work on your goals, which you will identify with the help of your Community Connector.
