CAMELLIA HOUSE - Selected dates

This previously forgotten Grade II* listed glasshouse, formerly Lady Rockingham's Tea Room, will finally be opening its doors for guests to enjoy a range of international small plates alongside delicious global teas. 

With special thanks to the National Lottery Heritage Fund, Historic England, all other funders and of course our dedicated team at Wentworth Woodhouse for making this restoration dream possible!

Afternoon Tea in the Long Gallery

Join us in The Long Gallery throughout the year for a truly special Afternoon Tea experience.

As the seasons change, so do our menus using the finest local produce. From the delicate florals of spring to the warm, comforting flavours of winter, each menu reflects the very best of the season – the perfect treat for you and your loved ones.

Timed sittings between 11.30am-2pm

Celebrate spring in the Long Gallery with a beautifully curated Afternoon Tea. As the season brings fresh colour and light, indulge in a delightful selection of delicate finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones served with clotted cream and preserves, and an array of handcrafted spring-inspired treats – thoughtfully prepared to capture the bright, fresh flavours of the season.

Butler's Pantry Café  - Tuesday - Sunday 

The Butler’s Pantry Café on the ground floor of the house is a warm and welcoming environment, perfect for a light-bite with friends or a sweet treat after a walk around our house and gardens. With new items being added to our menu each season, why not pop in next time you’re in the area – you don’t need a House & Gardens ticket for the Butler’s Pantry!

Wander through centuries of history in the principal State Rooms with relaxed freeflow visits. Linger in these spaces imagining yourself at a grand ball or a luxurious dinner before heading outdoors to explore the 50 acres of historic gardens.

This self-guided experience is a wonderful way to discover all that Wentworth Woodhouse has to offer and every ticket directly supports the restoration of this extraordinary place.

THE LIBRARY LOUNGE IS OPEN Thursday to Sunday, 10.00am-4.00pm

We’ve transformed the historic libraries of Wentworth Woodhouse into a cosy and inviting haven perfect for unwinding with a drink or two.

Nestle into a plush Chesterfield sofa, surrounded by shelves filled with our second-hand book collection and the warm glow of lamplight. Whether you’re enjoying a warming drink and a slice of something sweet or simply seeking a moment of quiet – let this historic setting wrap you in its charm.

The Top to Bottom Tour - Thursday to Sunday (and Bank Holidays) 11am

Back by popular demand! Join us for the return of our sell-out Top to Bottom Guided Tour which includes exclusive access to the vaulted cellars and attic rooms (usually off-limits to the public!) This tour will share stories of parties in the cellars, family lives on the upper floors, and includes access to some of our more derelict areas awaiting restoration.

Additional Information

• The Top to Bottom Tour runs for approximately 90 minutes.
• The Top to Bottom Tour explores areas that aren’t on the public route. You will go from the cellars at the very bottom of the House to the attics at the very top.
• Your tour ticket includes House & Gardens general admission on the day of your tour (typically £15.50). Subject to opening dates and times.
