Support for Children, Young People, Parents and Carers is available for example:- breastfeeding, weaning, bed wetting, child development, emotional difficulties.

Description

The 0-19 Public Health Nursing Service are made up of health visitors and school nursing teams. We support and help children and young people aged 0 to 19 and their families and carers to:

  • be safe
  • live healthier lifestyles
  • achieve their full potential

Our support begins in late pregnancy and until children reach 19 years. If the young person has special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) we support them up to 25 years of age.

  • Well baby clinics
  • Support for under 5's
  • Support for 5 to 19 year olds
  • Family Nurse Partnership (FNP) programme

We also have a Specialist Health Visitor who works within this team and specifically works with and supports Asylum Seekers and Refugees and Gypsy/Travellers.

Monday to Thursday 8.45am - 4.45pm, Friday 8.45am - 4.15pm
