ACTIVE IN BARNSLEY PARTNERSHIP - WHAT'S YOUR MOVE

Barnsley

Who we are

COVID-19 Ideas and advice for keeping all the family fit and active during the Coronavirus outbreak.

Description

If you are not self-isolating, you can still go outside for a walk, a run or a cycle if you're well enough and follow the latest official advice on social distancing- which currently means staying more than two metres from others - and follow advice on general hygiene.

What's Your Move is a campaign led by the Active in Barnsley Partnership, but with content and ideas being created by people and organisations across Barnsley.  Due to Coronavirus (COVID-19), people are finding new and creative ways to keep moving, both at home and on their doorstep.

What's Your Move helps celebrate this and we would love to see What Your Move is.  you can share it online with the #Whatsyourmove.

This could be big moves, such as a cycle or a run, but could also be little moves such as a sneaky squat when hanging out the washing or lunging whilst you vacuum in your best Freddie Mercury style!

There will be challenges set over the coming weeks, as well as a chance to become a What's Your Move ambassador in the future.  So watch this space.

You can get involved on Barnsley Moving, Facebook or Twitter page.
