Description
We are a creative day care service that runs Mon-Fri from an accessible studio space at Barnsley Civic.
ArtWorks supports adults who have a learning disability, or are autistic (or both), to develop their artistic skills with the support of art teachers and trained artists. We empower people through art and creativity, and support life-skills through art, volunteering, work placements and commissioned projects.
Sessions include:

- Special effects
- Animation
- Drama
- Film
- Dance

Eligibility: ArtWorks is run by a friendly and welcoming team who are experienced at supporting those with additional needs to access the arts. You are eligible to attend if you have a funded personal budget from the council, please contact the front door team if you are unsure about this. We cannot administer medicines or provide personal care.
