Description

Fiskerton offers a fantastic range of coarse fishing, be it barbel, chub, bream, pike, zander and even the occasional river carp, you’ll find them all. A (day) permit allows you to fish two rods and whilst barbed hooks are allowed, micro barbed hooks are preferred. No barbel or carp to be retained in keep nets.

Night fishing (sunset-sunrise) at Fiskerton is Syndicated, so unless you are a syndicate member, no night fishing is permitted.  The car park gate is locked 30 minutes after sunset, see below for car park closing times.

You can obtain day tickets (£10.00) from the Post Office/local shop in the centre of Fiskerton village, the shop opens at 0630hrs and closes at 1730hrs (0700-1700hrs on Saturday/Sunday). You should then head out of the village with the Post Office on your left, navigate a sharp right and then left hand bend, about 600 yards further down the road on your left you will see a partial tarmac track with a BDAAS sign on a post at the corner, head down the track and watch out for a sharp left hand bend at the bottom. Straight ahead of you will be the car park.

When you head to the river through the gate into the field (about 150yds) you can either turn left into the field (and then through another clapper gate to peg 1) or right through the clapper gate on your right, you may fish from pegs 1 to 85 only, those above peg 85 are private.  Under no circumstances are you to use the car park adjacent to the weir, it’s private property as is the access road.
