Feels Like Home is a weekly, open group for anyone wanting to learn English conversation and make new friends. The group learns about Barnsley's history and culture and takes part in various museum activities and trips throughout the year. So if you would like to

- Connect with local people and share your lives
- Find out about opportunities
All are welcome to drop in anytime - bring the kids along too! (Children’s activities provided).
The group meets on Wednesdays in the Learning Lab, Experience Barnsley Museum, Town Hall.
Ask at Town Hall reception if you can’t find us.
Barnsley Safe Places
Barnsley Safe Places welcomes anyone over the age of 16 to join as a member. Anyone can feel unsafe or unsure whilst out and about if something goes wrong. The venues available in Barnsley have been trained to be welcoming and helpful to anyone and everyone. There are a variety of venues such as libraries and cafes so you can find a quiet place by yourself or get help.
