BIADS - DEMENTIA DAY CARE CENTRE

Our day centre is a warm and welcoming space that has a home from home feel.  Our staff have lots of experience working in in care and supporting people with Dementia.

We offer full days, half days and pay per hour, please contact the centre manager for more information on the cost of day care.  Included in the cost are all activities, breakfast and lunch including drinks and biscuits, there is no extra charge for this.

We have a range of stimulating activities, we like to ask the members what they would like to do on the day, this gives members lots of choice, and we have activities for everyone's needs, from baking to art and crafts and much more.

We are able to offer personal care as our staff are trained and experienced to deal with any incontinence needs, we also have a walk in shower if this is required.

You do not need to be referred, just contact the centre manager for an assessment or an informal visit for a cuppa and a chat.

Unfortunately we are unable to offer transport at this time but some of our members use Dial a Ride, this is a wheelchair access and is door to door service.
