BIADS - SOCIAL CLUB

We are thrilled to introduce you to the newly renamed BIADS Social Club, a warm, welcoming and supportive environment for people living with dementia in Barnsley, and their families.

Previously known as BIADS Day Centre, our new name reflects the spirit of togetherness,  laughter, friendship and fun that fills our space every single day.

At BIADS Social Club, we are more than just a place to go, we are an extended family. whether you are a returning face or a new member, our doors are always open and we cannot wait to welcome you in.

Dignified Showering Service - A Personal Touch

We understand how difficult personal care can be for individuals and families. That is why we offer a discreet and dignified showering service, provided by our fully trained, compassionate support staff for people with dementia.

This service is available for those who attend the Social Centre or not, allows members to feel fresh, comfortable and confident, while giving families the reassurance that their loved one is being looked after with the utmost respect and care.

For those carers who have difficulty in getting bathed or showered at home you also can take advantage of our accessible facilities. For showers with staff support the fee is £15, for using the facilities on your own the cost is £10.
