Our Safeguarding Awareness Event 2023 will be about staying safe and taking control.
The event is for anyone interested in finding out more about keeping safe and how to get help if you don't feel safe. The event is open to the public and volunteers.
We will talk about:
- Preventing and stopping harm
- How safeguarding can help and what your rights are
- Feeling safe in your home
- What support is available if you are having problems with your neighbours or in your community
- Staying safe online
- Tips and guides to avoid online scams
You will get a chance to talk to people over a cuppa/biscuits and also pick up some freebies!
