Description
Cannon Hall Farm opened to the public for the first time in 1989. Since that time we have added adventure playgrounds, gift shop, farm shop, two restaurants and an indoor playground. It is now one of the largest farm attractions in the UK and the winner of many awards.
See the day to day workings of a modern farmyard including tractors and farm machinery. Other attractions include a milking parlour with regular milking demonstrations, a Rare Breeds barn and you can even have a bet on our Sheep Racing.
Every year during February half term and the Easter holidays we have live births of lambs and piglets, so there’s a great chance of seeing them being born. You’ll find various breeds of goats including our mischievous pygmy goats, baby llamas and alpacas in the rare breeds barn and our milking goats can be found in the milking parlour. We also have hardy little Shetland ponies that hail from the Scottish Islands that gave them their name.
After visiting all our animals you can relax in our contemporary restaurants while children let of any excess steam in the Hungry Llama indoor play area.
Our farm shop sells a delicious range of farm and Yorkshire inspired produce and our toy and gift shop has a wide range of farm related toys and giftware.
