Description

When things in life are tough, your heads a mess and you're on the edge, It's time to make changes.

It's about open and honest conversations and meeting people that understand where you're at. Don't worry, you don't need to be Banksy!  We'll go and see some art, get inspired and make something great.

Courses currently include Art for Well-Being, Mindfulness Movement, Creative Writing, Music, Street Art and Song Writing.  Group sizes are small, and courses include exercises designed to relieve emotional distress, ease anxiety, and develop creative coping strategies.  Participants will be encouraged to build new support networks and find fresh inspiration to feel more optimistic about the future.  We recommend new referrals complete a course as an introduction to Creative Recovery.

This course is half a day each week running for 7 weeks in the town centre.  It is led by an Art Therapist and Street Artist and is funded through BMBC Suicide Prevention Fund.

To take part in this project please register for our Core Programme by emailing: participate@creativerecovery.co.uk or texting your name to 07916 282 064 and we will return your call to arrange an introductory 1-to-1.
