There are a number of ways you can help Samaritans

• Listening - as a listening volunteer you'll be there for people when they need someone to talk to. You'll be willing to listen and understand, without telling people what to do.
• Fundraising - Every branch needs money to keep our services running day and night. Join our team that plans fundraising activity and help to find new and exciting ways to raise vital funds.
• Marketing - It's important that people who need our services know who we are and how we can help. Use your skills to write press releases, manage a social media channel or update the website.
• Administration - Our branches are busy, so we need people who know how to run ting efficiently.  your organisational skills could help us streamline processes, plan rotas and training.
• Finance - Money is tight and its costs thousands to keep one of our branches open and running.  Use your finance skills to help manage the budget and plan spending for your local branch.
• IT and Web Support - It's essential that we keep our technology up and running so callers can get through.  Use your skills to help trouble-shooting, maintenance, and upgrades.

It all depends on the role you'd like to do and how much time you can give. We can talk about what suits us both.  We will support you every step of the way.
