Description
The Refugee Employability Programme (REP) aims to help refugees into sustained employment. To achieve this goal, we match participants with a dedicated case worker, who provides practical support and a learning plan tailored to each individual.
This includes assistance with language and employability skills, work experience opportunities, and community integration. We also work closely with employers in different industries to make sure that refugees are factored into recruitment strategies across the region.
We aim to remove barriers which cannot be fully addressed by mainstream services.
Employment support
Ensuring an appropriate level of support is provided to refugees to build their skills and talent in the workplace, including:
- CV writing classes
- Sector specific training
- Interview practice
- English Language classes and informal conversation clubs
- Integration support
Helping refugees to integrate and settle into their local communities by signposting services such as:
- community groups
- healthcare
- childcare
