LOCAL MENCAP BARNSLEY - SOCIAL EVENINGS

Some people forget how important it is to just have fun!

At Mencap, we never forget and that’s why we put so much effort into making sure people with a learning disability have opportunities to get out, be active and have fun.

Twice weekly we have social evenings, come along to enjoy socialising with friends, enjoy activities such as pool, darts, bingo, Tai Chi, or have a dance to disco music.

Barnsley Safe Places

Barnsley Safe Places welcomes anyone over the age of 16 to join as a member. Anyone can feel unsafe or unsure whilst out and about if something goes wrong. The venues available in Barnsley have been trained to be welcoming and helpful to anyone and everyone. There are a variety of venues such as libraries and cafes so you can find a quiet place by yourself or get help.
