Description
We are holding a One Stop Cancer Shop in the town centre.
There will be everything you need to know about cancer awareness and screening and cervical screenings will take place on a mobile screening unit. Lots of cancer services will be there to advise such as:
- Breast and bowel screening
- Cervical Cancer Screening (from 10am - 3pm)
- Health Improvement Officers
- Lung cancer screening
- Barnsley Smokefree Service will be taking referrals on the day
- Barnsley Immunisations Team including HPV Vaccinations
- Macmillan Cancer Service
- Barnsley Cancer Champions
- Free fruit and vegetables, cleaning products and a special giveaway will be available.
Please visit us on the day for advice on anything cancer related. There will be confidential spaces to chat and a space for kids to play.
We will also have Barnsley Refugee Council there to assist with anyone who would need translation services.
