SILKSTONE COMMON METHODIST CHURCH - GOOD COMPANIONS

Silkstone Common Good Companions provides companionship, entertainment and recreation for people aged 55+ who live locally.

We meet fortnightly on a Wednesday to enjoy a fun, social afternoon. We have quizzes and games, musical entertainment, guest speakers talking on a range of interesting topics and we also have refreshments and a raffle each meeting.  We have outings to places of interest, a trip to the seaside and our annual Christmas Dinner. 

We have been an organised group for over 60 years now, so come along and join the fun.

We are always on the lookout for extra helpers so if you have some spare time and would like to volunteer, we’d love to see you.
