ST GEORGES CHURCH - CHURCH SERVICES

St George's Church welcomes all. Our Church has been part of the Barnsley Community for almost 200 years. We are located in central Barnsley and have a thriving congregation of all ages with over 12 nations being represented in our members. We try our best to make your visit as enjoyable as possible because we know how daunting it can be walking into a new church, not knowing anybody and that's why we work very hard to make Church relational and relevant.

We welcome anyone no matter their background and it's our desire to see everyone feel accepted, wanted and valued. Alongside our Sunday worship, we also offer support to people of all nations including support with asylum claims and refugee issues. We have youth groups and activities, a food bank, a knitting group, and a group for garden enthusiasts.
