Description
Terrence Higgins Trust is the UK's leading HIV and sexual health charity. We support people living with HIV and amplify their voices, and help the people using our services to achieve good sexual health.
How we can help
If your call is complicated then one of our advisers may need to call you back when they’ve done some research. We’ll tell you when we are going to call back. We can also send out information to your home for you to read, in a plain envelope.
You can contact us to find out about:
- Testing for HIV or other sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
- Accessing PrEP or PEP.
- Prosecutions for transmission of HIV.
- Any other questions about improving your sexual health.
THT Direct helpline
Call THT Direct on 0808 802 1221 for support, advice and information or email us at info@tht.org.uk.
We're open:
- 10am to 6pm, Monday to Friday
Our phone number is 0808 802 1221.
This is free to call from all UK landlines and most major mobile networks. It won’t appear on your telephone bill.
Live chat
We're trialling a new live chat service to offer you support without the need to make a phone call.
The chat is open Monday to Friday at the following times:
- 11am to 1pm
- 3pm to 5pm
Live chat is anonymous and confidential. We're offering it alongside our phone helpline, initially at the times given above.
At the end of your chat session, you'll be directed to an online survey about your experience. Please take a few minutes to fill this in as it helps us to understand how live chat is working. We'll use this feedback to develop the service further.
You can get in touch with us by email to info@tht.org.uk.
We’ll try and respond within three working days. If your question is urgent – such as about accessing PEP – then try calling for a quicker response.
If you prefer, you can email us and provide a telephone number so that we can call you.
Write to us
The address for sending your question by post is:
THT Direct
Terrence Higgins Trust
439 Caledonian Road
London
N7 9BG
We’ll try to respond within three working days. We would recommend calling if your question is urgent. We will write back to you in a plain envelope, so it won’t be obvious that the letter is from us.
