U3A - CREATIVE WRITING GROUP

Are you looking for a good laugh? Are you looking to experience a whole gamut of emotions? Are you looking to meet new friends?

Then look no further. The only qualifications needed for this group are a sense of humour and the ability to string a couple of sentences together. From novice to published author the warmest of welcomes await you.

The Creative Writing Group gets a lot of pleasure from swapping their stories online. The positive feedback encourages us to improve our writing. There are seven of us but we would love to read more stories.

If you have ever written a story or had an ambition to write one, then you will be aware of the pleasure to be gained through writing, but you may not have experienced the thrill of having other people hear or read it. Therefore we would like to invite anyone who is part of the u3a family to send their work to us, and we will give you positive feedback.

There is no need to be a member of our group but you are most welcome to join us at any time. In order to try and inspire ideas, I set a choice of three topics every fortnight.
We are now meeting face to face at Birdwell Community Centre.
