YMCA - ROOM HIRE

Whether you are looking for a suitable venue for a large or small event we have the facilities to suit all requirements.  Our meeting spaces can accommodate 1-200 people and are set within our town centre premises at Blucher Street, Barnsley and just a five minute drive from Junction 37 of the M1.

Our rooms are suitable for almost any event, from interviews, meetings, training and board meetings. We also have a sports hall with changing and shower facilities and a self-contained community hall with a fully equipped kitchen.

We can provide refreshments, lunches and all the necessary equipment to make your event as successful as possible.

• Community Hall

Fully accessible Community Hall with toilets, disability friendly toilet and kitchen facilities.
Self Service refreshments facilities can be provided @ 50p per drink.
Room capacity: 100 People
Hire Costs:
– 9:00am-5:00pm Monday to Friday – £25 per hour with kitchen, £20 without kitchen
– 5:00pm onwards & weekends, £30 per hour with kitchen, £25 without kitchen

• Sports Hall

Full size sports hall with various court markings and changing facilities.
Room capacity:  Dependant on the activity and up to 250 people seated.
Availability is mostly day-time and weekends
Hire Costs: – 9:00am-5:00pm Monday to Friday £20 per hour
– 5:00pm onwards & weekends, £25 per hour

• Conference / Training Room                                                                       

Room Capacity:  Seating for 12
Hire Costs:  £10 per hour / £15 per hour with kitchen access & drinks & 5:00pm onwards & weekends

On-going bookings: Reductions negotiable.

Barnsley Safe Places

Barnsley Safe Places welcomes anyone over the age of 16 to join as a member. Anyone can feel unsafe or unsure whilst out and about if something goes wrong. The venues available in Barnsley have been trained to be welcoming and helpful to anyone and everyone. There are a variety of venues such as libraries and cafes so you can find a quiet place by yourself or get help.
