Description
The Old Courthouse Day Centre CIO is an independent local charity providing a safe, welcoming and stimulating day service in Barnsley town centre.
We support older people and adults with a range of needs, including people living with dementia, memory problems, physical disabilities, loneliness or social isolation. Our experienced and caring team provides personalised support, companionship, freshly prepared meals and a varied programme of meaningful activities. These include arts and crafts, reminiscence, music and movement, baking, games, gentle exercise and cognitive stimulation.
We aim to help people maintain their confidence, independence and connection with their community, while providing valuable respite and peace of mind for families and unpaid carers.
Full-day, half-day and flexible hourly attendance options are available.
