Smithies Lane Reservoir

A tranquil respite for fishing with easy access just off the A61 (Wakefield Road) offering F1’s good sized Carp and a good range of Silver Fish.

Your Barnsley permit/day ticket entitles you to coarse fish during daylight hours, not after sunset or before sunrise.

Tinker's Ponds

Top Pond (the larger of the two): Has some big Carp and some nice Tench, Bream, Roach, F1’s and Perch. The Top Pond is deep in places, Sweet corn, Pellet’s, for the big Carp and Tench. Caster and maggot for the Bream, Roach and Perch.

Bottom Pond : Good Bream, F1’s, Rudd and Roach, Caster and maggot for the Roach and Perch, Rudd and Bream.

Your Barnsley permit/day ticket entitles you to coarse fish during daylight hours, not after sunset or before sunrise.
