Description
The Barnsley and District Art Society was founded in 1935 and has been going strong ever since. We have a mixture of demonstration evenings by professional artists and studio evenings to work on themes together or do our own work.
Members work in all kinds of medium- including pencil, pastel, ink, watercolour, acrylic and textile.
We are an inclusive society and welcome new members of all ages and abilities. Your first Studio evening as a visitor is free.
We also have workshops, gallery visits and sketching trips and we exhibit our work at local galleries.

Cost: Annual Inscription Fee of £30 - students pay £15 to be a member. Members will then pay £2 per evening meeting - studio evenings and demonstrations. Non members who wish to attend any meetings will pay £5 for studio evenings and £7 for demonstrations and workshops.
