Description
There are a couple of small ponds here, the waters are run and controlled by Hoyland Angling Club.
The fishing on offer is very affordable with the chance of catching Carp up to around 20lb. The water holds plenty of small silver fish which tend to make up the majority of the match weights.
Maggot Caster and worm will see plenty of bites as Roach (best 2½lb but average 5oz), Rudd and skimmers make up the majority of the fish in the water. There are also some Tench present with the best running to 5lb. The smaller of the pools is about 7½ft. deep and is stuffed with Roach and Bream.
Day tickets are available and this pool can be fished by the under 16's or OAP's for free.
