Who we are

ICAS will provide you with advice and guidance when you need to make a complaint about a Social Care, NHS or NHS funded service.

Description

Independent Health and Social Care complaints advocacy is for anyone who wants to make a complaint about Social Care, NHS or NHS-funded services. This could include care providers, Adult or Children’s Social Care, hospitals, doctors, dentists, pharmacies.

If you are not sure if we can help with your complaint, please get in touch. Our Health & Social Care Complaints advocates are specifically trained to support you through the complaints process, including:

  • Understanding the complaints process
  • Making a complaint in writing
  • Keeping in touch with you about the progress of your complaint
  • Attending meetings with you and health/social care professionals
  • Helping you to understand the outcome of your complaint
  • Helping you to take your complaint to the Ombudsman if you are not happy with the outcome.
